Panasia Signs Retrofit Contract with ATLANSHIP S.A.

Panasia has reported that it recently signed a fleet contract for the Retrofit Project of GloEn-Patrol™, a BWTS, for the fruit juice tankers owned by ATLANSHIP S.A.

In the current BWTS market in which diverse technologies and products are in service by the various manufacturers over the world, it is general process that ship owners willing to install BWTS at their whole fleet on the basis of fleet contracts, install some of reliable maker’s of BWTS at their single fleet in advance in order to evaluate the performance of BWTS.

In spite of the aforementioned fact, Panasia has successfully made the fleet contracts at their first deal with ATLANSHIP S.A. without prior evaluation in recognition of their dramatic achievement made so far in BWTS market such as the launch for its new generation model GIII designed to be effective for retrofit construction and high capacity water treatment with minimal footprint as of May, 2013 since GloEn-Patrol™ was commercialized, which verify the superiority of Panasia’s BWTS. Additionally, acquirement of AMS approval from USCG in the last April also one of the key factors to achieve this successful fleet retrofit contract.

A Panasia staff commented that “Panasia E&S Co., Ltd (Engineering & Service) will provide PSRS (Pit Stop Retrofit Service) that offers a total solution for retrofit projects from consulting to engineering, installation, and test drive using its proven technologies and infrastructure, starting with European countries beginning this June.

ATLANSHIP S.A., which has its headquarters in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, is mainly involved with ship management and distribution of food-related goods. The signed project is responsible for transportation of about 70% of all orange juice around the world.
